Day 1: begin your Omani adventure!

As you land at Muscat Airport, our team members will provide a friendly welcome and guide you through the process before escorting you to your Muscat hotel. Accommodation: Muscat: Ramada By Wyndham

Day 2: Muscat City Tour

  • Begin your day after breakfast with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, an impressive masterpiece of contemporary Islamic design. This architectural marvel features a magnificent prayer chamber, intricate mosaic work, and contains the second largest hand-woven carpet globally. The mosque welcomes non-Muslim guests in morning hours, offering a peaceful environment to explore Oman's Islamic cultural legacy.
  • Following the mosque visit, proceed to Muscat's old quarter to discover the Muttrah Souk, a quintessential Omani marketplace. This bazaar presents an array of merchandise, featuring distinctive Omani items like frankincense, traditional Khanjar daggers, handcrafted silver items, and fine Pashmina scarves.
  • Enjoy a leisurely walk along Muttrah Corniche, an enchanting seafront promenade offering spectacular vistas of the port and imposing mountain ranges.
  • Standing atop a hillside overlooking the harbor, Muttrah Fort represents a Portuguese-built fortress from the 1500s. Guests can venture through its historic observation towers while enjoying sweeping views of Muttrah and the Omani Gulf.
  • Visit The National Museum, showcasing Oman's cultural treasures through exhibitions spanning ancient relics to contemporary history. Day 3: Nizwa City - Bahla Fort - Jabrin Castle

  • Begin your day after breakfast in Nizwa City with a visit to the Nizwa Souq. Explore this remarkable marketplace, where the modern complex showcases traditional Omani architectural elements with its fortress-inspired design and graceful Islamic archways. Inside the climate-controlled market halls, you'll discover abundant displays of fresh produce, aromatic spices, premium dates, and daily catches from local fishermen. The souq remains the premier destination for purchasing authentic silver "Khanjars" (traditional Omani daggers) and authentic Bedouin silver ornaments, with precious metal still traded by weight.
  • Next, explore Nizwa Fort. This commanding circular fortress from the 1600s stands as Oman's most remarkable tower fortification. Constructed on solid rock foundation, this massive structure was engineered to handle the recoil of two dozen cannons. The summit offers spectacular 360-degree views over Nizwa and its surrounding landscape – perfect for photography enthusiasts!
