Day 1: Arrival in Muscat

Upon landing at Muscat International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our representative who will assist you and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Muscat City Tour

• After breakfast, begin your journey through Muscat’s vibrant heart.
  Start with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture, home to the world’s second-largest handwoven carpet and a majestic prayer hall open to non-Muslim visitors in the morning.
• Continue to Muttrah Souk, where you can wander through aromatic alleys lined with frankincense, silver crafts, Khanjars, and elegant Pashmina shawls.
• Enjoy a scenic walk along the Muttrah Corniche, followed by a visit to the historic Muttrah Fort, offering panoramic views of the harbor and city below.
• Next, dive into Omani heritage at The National Museum, showcasing centuries of art, artifacts, and maritime treasures. Alternatively, explore Bait Al Zubair Museum, with its charming traditional setting and cultural displays.
• Stop for photos at the iconic Riyam Censer Monument, then admire the grand Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial residence of the Sultan, known for its striking blue and gold façade.
• End your tour at the exquisite Royal Opera House, a world-class venue that blends tradition with elegance.

Day 3 Bimmah Sinkhole - Wadi Shab - Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve

• After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby. Making sure to bring sun protection, water, and comfortable footwear — today is all about natural beauty and adventure.
• Begin your day at the Bimmah Sinkhole, a striking natural pool formed by limestone erosion. Take a refreshing swim or simply enjoy the serenity of this geological wonder.
• Next, set off to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most scenic valleys. Hike through dramatic landscapes and swim through turquoise pools leading to a hidden cave with a waterfall. The full round-trip hike takes approximately 2.5–3 hours.
• Recharge with a delicious lunch at Wadi Shab Village Restaurant, nestled near the wadi.
• In the afternoon, head to Ras Al Hadd, a quiet coastal town known for its serene beaches and sea turtles.
• Optional: In the evening, join experienced rangers at Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve for a guided turtle-watching tour. Witness mother turtles nesting or baby hatchlings racing to the sea — a rare and magical experience.

Day 4: Sur city - Wadi Bani Khalid - Wahiba Sands – Desert Camp

• Start your day with a visit to Sur, a coastal city rich in maritime history. Explore the traditional dhow-building yards, where craftsmen still use ancient techniques to create these iconic wooden ships. Continue your journey at the Sur Maritime Museum, delving deeper into the region’s seafaring heritage. If you have time, take a stroll to the lighthouse for stunning views of the Arabian Sea.
• Next, drive toward Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. Along the way, enjoy the diverse landscapes that highlight the country’s natural beauty. Upon arrival at Wadi Bani Khalid, be greeted by clear, azure pools surrounded by towering mountains and lush palm groves. You can swim in the refreshing waters, relax by the shore, or explore the deeper parts of the wadi to discover hidden pools and waterfalls. Consider stopping for lunch at a local restaurant to try traditional Omani dishes.
• From the lushness of the wadi, head toward Wahiba Sands (also known as Sharqiya Sands). This vast desert of shifting dunes offers a dramatic contrast to the green oasis you’ve just left behind. For an exhilarating experience, try dune bashing with skilled drivers or take a camel ride to feel the traditional Bedouin way of travel. Climb to the top of a dune to witness a breathtaking desert sunset as the sky and sand change color in a spectacular display.
• As night falls, enjoy a traditional Omani dinner under the stars, often accompanied by local music and dance performances. Finally, retreat to a Bedouin-style tent, where ancient traditions meet modern comfort, and the peaceful sounds of the desert ensure a restful night’s sleep.

Day 5: Nizwa & Jabal Akhdar

• After breakfast, we begin our journey towards Nizwa, around 150 km from Muscat. Our first stop is the iconic Nizwa Fort, a 17th-century masterpiece featuring one of the largest circular towers in the region. Climb to the top for sweeping views of the city and its surroundings.
• Next, stroll through the vibrant Nizwa Souq, where local artisans sell silver jewelry, Omani daggers, spices, and more. If you're here on a Friday, don't miss the famous cattle auction event, a unique cultural experience you won’t forget.
• We then head to the atmospheric ruins of Birkat Al Mouz, an ancient village nestled at the foot of Jebel Akhdar. Walk through lush date plantations and explore the UNESCO-listed Aflaj irrigation system, a testament to Oman’s ingenious water management heritage.
• From there, we ascend into the dramatic landscapes of Jebel Akhdar, known as Oman’s “Green Mountain.” As we wind our way 2,000 meters above sea level, you’ll discover terraced orchards bursting with seasonal fruits and charming villages like Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib, and Al Ain. In spring (March–April), the region comes alive with the blooming of Damask roses and the scent of freshly distilled rose water.
• End the day with a peaceful overnight stay in the cool, refreshing air of the mountains.

Day 6: Departure Muscat international airport
